Is that bedliner on the last pic?
Yes. Just the spray on stuff. I had one Line-X'd and it turned out great.

great work. im in the process of building mine now ill attach a link so you can look threw some photos but basicly its a 6x6 peice of sq stock. thats being bent 30 degrees at the frame then 55 just past the fended end. its got a winch being mounted on it and a hitch under it. i also built a rear one that has a inset plate holder and hitch built in to the bottom of it. the rear my end up sealed and compressed with air for reserves but im not sure yet. Sorry about polluting the forum with non-Dakota pictures, but I just built this one recently for my Blazer.

I had planned on building the rear bumper first but decided to build a tiregate instead.

Got a good start on the rear the other day. Still need to ad a few more pieces of tube though. I will also be adding some dimpled sheet metal since my wonderful wife got me a set of dimple dies for Christmas.

I'd have tacked some sheet metal to help cover the bottom of the truck. Looks strange seeing underneath from behind.

Just one more piece of sheet metal on the top and it's finished.
