Hello All! My 4.7 needs replaced. I changed oil in it and on my way to work,check gauges light came on,pulled off beltline at first exit and had to get it towed back home. There is oil in it... It has a noise that sounds like it is on the drivers side on top of engine. No oil pressure!!! I heard that only 2003/2004 4.7 will interchange..EGR and non EGR..16 tooth amd 32 tooth? Need some Advice..Has 170K miles on it. Thanks! Tim

 

Have you pulled the valve cover. These engines sometimes have rocker arms that just fall out. You didnt describe your noise.
