I bought a dodge dakota (1997) and i want to repaint my bumper and my grill.
How do you remove bumper and grill on this car ?

Bumper should bolt up to brackets that bolt to the frame. Maybe 4 bolts to remove it shouldn't take but 5 mins but might need help to get it off without it dropping off. Grill attaches to the hood and I haven't done a second gen dakota grill but I'd imagine it being simular to a 2nd gen ram grill which has a 3 brackets it bolts to. Just look up there and you will be able to figure it out. It also wouldn't be hard to mask off around it with some 1/2 inch painters (blue) tape to get it as close as possible and some 2inch regular masking tape and either masking paper or newspaper to cover the fenders and hood and some old bed sheets thrown on the rest of it to prevent any over spray. Unless you are or know a painter that has drop clothes.
