Ok and how much do you think it will be for the ball joints?

IF the stock ones fit, they're around $40 each.

Ok and there's four? Also can I measure the wheel I have now to see if they have correct back spacing ? If so I measure from the middle of the wheel where the lug nut hole are

Yes, there are four. But you're only replacing the upper control arms, so you can probably keep your lower ball joints if they're in good shape. To measure backspacing, lay a straight edge across the back of your wheel (not tire) and measure from there to the back of the wheel hub. But, if you have the stock wheels, I'm guessing they have too much backspacing.

Ok we'll all do so later in the evening so if the back space is 5 3/4 I'm ok

No. It needs to be 4-5/8" or less.

So you could get away with 1" spacers in front.

There's another recent thread about spacers/adapters (6-lug Chevy conversion or something like that). Lots of info in there. You don't need adapters, but all the same info applies to spacers.
