Default high idle 2004 4.7 Dakota

I changed plugs and in doing so i had to move plastic pcv line that comes from oil fill canister down passenger side of motor around to back of air intake to pull spark plug coil out. In doing that i pulled rubber elbow off of pcv line and pulled elbow of the back of air intake. The rubber elbow was cracked horizontally. My idle went up to 1200rpm. I went and bought a 8 in piece of hose that had an elbow in the middle and i cut it down to size to match the one that was cracked. To install i had to lay on top of motor, hold pcv line with left hand and take right hand on drivers side of air intake and push elbow onto pcv line and then onto plastic nipple on lower backside of air intake. Real tight spot. Idle dropped to 600 rpm.
