Question Exhaust manifold gasket replace

I need to replace my exhaust manifold gaskets and would like to know on what I need to purchase for the sealer for the exhaust bolts.
The factory manual says to use a sealer or you can get a coolant leak.
I know anti seize will not seal anything right?? just will help with rust and Corrosion of the bolts and to help get the bolts out later if needed.

There must be a coolant passage that is somehow connected to the bolts in the head??
My engine is the 4.7L

any help will be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance
Troy B.

Not for sure but you might try some liquid copper. Comes in a can lid has a bush built into it. Used on a boat motor once.

i think the copper sealer would be good. all so use anti-seize compound on ALL threads. and tighten exhaust bolts to 70-80% of full torque at first. then after 5-6 full heat cycles take to full torque. if it leeks be fore that take them to full torque.
