problem with cruise control

Check your brake light switch, too. If the brake lights come on for any reason (hitting a bump or something), it will turn off the cruise control.

i had actually never thought of that. that's not a bad suggestion!

Cool Awesome!

So Glad I found this site. My 2008 Dakota has the same issue. I was going to buy a shop manual to try to fix it but now I don't have to since it is part of the site. Do you guys know what the new switches should cost me? I prefer not to get them from a junk yard since they apparently go out quickly.
