Default loose line

Hey guys, i have a 1997 5 spd dodge dakota extended cab long bed and i had a problem and don't really know what it is. My gas tank straps all rusted and snapped and the tank fell on the ground, i fixed it but some lines are down now. In the photo i posted, the loose line comes out of a box and is right under the cab and the line isn't nearly long enough to to connect to the tank so I'm not sure what it could be, anybody have any ideas? Thanks
