steering shaft
does anyone know how long the spline's are on the steering shaft?? just put in a 2" body lift and the shaft extended about an 1" and there is about 1/4" of spline's showing...it and the steering feel firm.. just don't want something crazy to happen while i'm driving it down the road

Play it safe and see if you can get a shaft extender, I'm looking at the same for my truck and all the things I found what people are saying if you go more then a 1.5 body lift its safer to add a the extender to the steering shaft.

I know when you buy a complete lift kit it comes with the part.
A quick google shows Summit and Jegs has them.

call around to Napa and other auto parts stores, or look on ebay. the ones I have found are not cheap they are about 150 to 200. for that price you would be better off buying a body lift kit with it in and keeping the other parts just in case
