Default A/C manifold assembly part number??

2002 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab

The manifold that connects to my A/C compressor has sprung a leak. I've been told that the manifold, along with the two hoses connected to it, come as a single part. I've searched everywhere and can't find it online. There are single hoses available on eBay (part #55056410AF), but this doesn't have the manifold that I really need. Can someone tell me what part # I should be asking for? Appreciate any help.

Thanks

Mark

Have you checked the washer-orings that go under the two inlets between the manifold and top of the compressor? Maybe those are the source of the leak..

I do not know of any supplier that sells that hose assembly but maybe someone else here can tell you where to buy it. I recently had the hose and manifold assembly repllaced on my truck. I believe the assembly cost $143.00 at the Dodge dealer.

Dealer only part they call it an... (ac suction & discharge line) around $155

But like 01SilverCC says its probably the seal under the suction and discharge line that needs replaced I would look at that first.

Remember this part is aluminum and is not cranked down or you will warp the connection is that what happened?

The bolt is only snugged down the seal is what does the work not how tight it is.

You can find them on ebay but they may have the same problem warped.

Any good hydraulic hose shop (and maybe even a NAPA store) should be able to make you one.

The cost would be the same or more but the problem is the compressor mounting coupler/manifold that sounds warped I have never seen just that part so I'm not sure you could make/get a replacement for that.

Dealer call order bam its in the mail and you know its going to fit like a glove.

But its possible to have one made for you as I just found this place LINK but cost is high.
