Default 4.7l or 5.7l which one is the better choice

Own a 2003 Ram QC 1500 with a 3.7l in it. Bought it for fuel economy but now we want to be able to tow an RV and the 3.7 just isn't up to it. the truck is in great shape but my delema is should I put a 4.7l in it and keep the manual 5 speed or go for a 5.7l and have to go to an automatic. Cost can be a cocern but not the primary factor? Which way gives me the most
bang for my buck? Any and all thoughts on this subject would sure be appreciated Thanks

Sell it and buy a Ram with a Hemi. Seriously, you'll end up with a much better tow vehicle and probably save money in the long run.

The easiest way to get from point A to point B would be to just sell it and buy the truck you want. That would probably also be cheaper than buying a motor, transmission, computer, wring harness, etc...

You'll be getting similar MPG with the 5.7L as you would with the 4.7L. My 5.7L now gets better MPG than my 2001 4.7L, plus, it has 160hp more.
