Well I got the news yesterday last weeks deer hit totaled out the old Dak I've had since 05. Hard to believe a headlight grill bumper radiator and AC condenser can total a vehicle. I ended up buying it back for 300 I just can't let the old Dak go. Shame its going to be a salvage title from now on. They said the radiator support is shot but I just don't see it honestly

to total one all it takes is more to repair that to buy at LOW BB.
You get paid for the damage?
You kill the deer? Eat the deer?
Salvage title lower on taxes and registration?

I guess it depends on the shape and mileage but I macked a guy that cut me off in my 98 and they put 3,800 into it. Needed inner and outer fender, battery box, fuse box, grille, headlight, bumper and fog light, some frame straightening and alignment. For 300 tho I would of def bought it back even if you have to put a grand into it you know its past.

Mine was as good as wasted from the firewall forward on passenger side. I think total rebuild was under $1,100.
