Transmission Squeak on Clutch Release
I've noticed that, particularly in neutral, my transmission or clutch squeaks when I release the clutch pedal. If I put the very slightest amount of pressure on my clutch pedal, even if it doesn't move, the squeaking goes away.
Anybody know what the cause could be? I just changed the tranny oil yesterday just to be safe and that's not the issue.

I was going to look at the clutch parts a while back when I replaced the master/slave cylinder. I took all of the bolts out of the bellhousing (including the top two that I could only reach with a bunch of extensions and swivel sockets from the gear shift hole), disconnected the starter, removed the gear shift, and disconnected the cross-member support, and even the little thin sheet of metal with the cut-outs fell out from between the bell housing and engine, but it would not separate from the engine, so I just said screw it and put all the bolts back in, so I have never personally looked at it.
I had a guy suggest it might be the bearings in the front of the transmission (input shaft bearing) instead of the throw-out bearing, since the squeaking starts when the clutch pedal is released instead of when it is pressed, but I've never heard of that happening, and everybody else seems to be suggesting the throw-out bearing, so I might just save up and get a new clutch kit and have the pressure plate, throw-out bearing and clutch pad all replaced.
