I have a question about my swap, my truck is a 01 Dakota 3.9. my donor truck is a 99 ram 5.9, I am using the 99 engine, trans, harness and pcm. I know that the 99 ram uses a ccd bus on all the modules and it will not communicate with my instrument cluster and my 01 Dakota uses pci. If I get a cluster out of a 99 Dakota will the body and dash harness have the same pinouts? I also know that the 99 pcm will not communicate with my abs module but I am not worried about that.

 

1 more question, will I lose my speedo input if my pcm doesn't communicate with my abs module.
