now i found krc performance makes a supercharger kit for the v6. any one here anything about it how it affects the engine. any warnings? please let me know

 

no real warnings, just remember that "the brighter the light, the faster it'll burn out"... meaning FI'ing a car will cause your motor to have excessive wear in the long term.

 

I have a question for you. How much is the supercharger and how much would it cost you to get it put in. (if you wouldn't be doing it yourself.) Because it might be more economical to do a motor swap and put in a V8. It would last longer the FI'ing a v6. Just a suggestion.

 

i'd agree on that one with Daksport... the only difference would be the fuel economy when cruising. the 3.9 should get slightly better mpg i'd think.

 

ok but my question about the motor swap is is it legal smog and registration wise? i always thought that was illegal i was thinking the super charger cause if it conflicts with any legality i can take it off have it smogged and put it back on . if its legal to swap that would be nice but i doubt it. oh and by the way with the mud brute tires and these little upgrades i get like 13-17 if im lucky if the v-8 is worse tell me please.
