Ok so I basically inherited my 99 dakota from my brother. Standard cab 2wd 3.9 L. Basic model except stick shift. Im sure im not the only one that's had issues with the rust right above the wheel wells. I plan on cutting it out and replacing with sheet metal and riveting it in and using Bondo to make it flush again. Anything to prevent it happening again? Also sometime down the road plan on lifting it. Either 2-4 inches. Whats a good suspension lift kit? The *** end already stands up higher by about 2 inches. Not sure what he did to it. Will the lift kit balance it back out? Also what size tread should I run if I keep the stock rims. My second vehicle, but first truck and first time messing around with upgrading. So any coaching, tips, tricks, and advice would be greatly appreciated. LITTLE TRUCKS BIG ATTITUDES!!!
