copper spark plugs

Default copper spark plugs

I put that coin looking type spark plug gap tool in between the groung electrode and the electrode and pryed it open gently, ? is, is that plug still good?

You can just pry it back and reset the gap. If it snaps then obviously you'll have to buy a new one. You just need to slide the coin to the desired gap, you shouldn't have to pry anything.

Was the gap wrong? That's what the tool is for, to measure and widen the gap if needed. Tap the tip gently on a hard surface, like concrete to narrow the gap.

Gap should be 0.040 inches for the 3.9, 5.2 and 5.9 I believe
For the 3.7 and 4.7 you would have to check.
