pop sounds

Default pop sounds

what would make a pop kind of sound from the right of the truck when i make hard right turns ?

ball joint, wheel bearing, control arm bushing, tie rod end, ....pretty much anything that can wear out.

Since the noise happens on right turns check the left front wheel bearing/hub assembly. Also check both stabilizer bar end links. Those can cause the pop noise too, but sometimes the noise is more prominent when going over a bump at low speed, like a speed breaker. Check the boot over the stud end, be sure it is still intact and full of grease, with no play in either end. Last time I had a bad stabilizer bar end link it made the popping sound when backing up and turning, like when backing out of a parking space.
