fiber glass hood repair?

Default fiber glass hood repair?

anyone here have any good ways to repair the fiberglass hood on my dakota?
last week i part my truck down the street from my apartment. the next day i went back to it and it looks like someone with a really tall truck hit my hood and crack the hood plus dented the driver side fender. i am not worried about the fender but the hood i cant stand looking at this cracked.

you can try a boat/glass repair facility, but it's hard to say.

well i really dont want to go to a shop they charge to much to fix fiberglass around me. so its going to have to be me. the cracks are on the outer edges look like more a chip on one side a crack on the other side.
anyone know of any products that can be used to repair it?

I dont know any tricks of the trade, but having watched FG get laid, there's a reason it aint cheap.

Typically most fixes are done by re-laying a couple layers of glass and re-gelcoating it.

Can you post a picture so we can see the damage? I've done a fair amount of fiberglass work, and it's not all that difficult to do a halfway decent job. I imagine there are a ton of YouTube videos showing you how.

Buy the materials at a "real" automotive paint and body supply store and they'll be able to help you buy the right mat, resin, etc.
