when I check the hydraulic pressure wat should it be.

The pressure varies. Tests are done at 1500 rpm.

Basically you want to verify:

1. You have pressure.
2. It matches up with what the line pressure transducer is measuring.

If you want to start checking all the clutch pressures, you'd need a valve body pressure tap adapter:

N-R, 220 psi.
Most other shifts vary from 100-120psi.

If you've had a pump failure you aren't moving, period.

Will i need a hydraulic pressure test set or could i use something like my manifold gauges for my ac

As long as the gauge can handle the pressure and you can make it work, you're good.

just remember the fluid will enter the gauge assembly, so you run a risk of contamination

Ok better off just getting a hydraulic tester wats the best tester should I get
