fuel pump asap

Would a 26 gallon fuel pump out of a 04 dakota work in a 24 gallon 01 dakota. Need help asap.

I can't say 100%, but as a hint, NONE of the fuel pump assemblies listed at RockAuto for a 2004 fit anything BUT a 2004 ...

The bare pump, itself, OTOH ...
