I am doing some body work and repainting my 1998 Dakota Sport 4x4. The paint color is Emerald Green and the decals are also green but not the same as the paint color. Does anybody know the color "name" of the decals? I have been to many aftermarket sites that offer replica decals in green, lime green teal, etc. but I'm not sure whether the color will be the same as the original.


Please help if you can.

 

If cheap buy both as you cant tell how a color looks online compared to when you get it home and oooops that color doesn't look correct you may need to go with white, black or gray.


Only way to get the exact color match is dealership if they have them aftermarket colors don't match exactly plus your remaining stuff will have faded compared to new I'm sure of that.


The other option is have a shop make custom stuff but that's expensive.

 

Pretty sure my '97 is the same color green. I only had decals on the tailgate, and when I had it repaired and painted I told them to leave off the decals....I like it better that way and saved the money.
