Default Anyone using Valvoline Synchromesh?

It is time to change the lube in my transmission again, and I am having trouble finding the Pennzoil Synchromesh that I have been using in it. Napa has this Valvoline Synchromesh, the label says it meets the Chrysler specs but I wanted to know if anyone here uses or has used it and is it as good, better or worse than Pennzoil Synchromesh?

Thanks for any info.

Jimmy

I guess I have answered my own question. A better detailed search on the Napa website shows my local Napa has Pennzoil Synchromesh in stock, and they have Valvoline 75W90 gear oil too. I am going to do both the transmission and rear end this weekend.

Thanks anyway,

Jimmy

Well, as it turns out the Napa website lied. There was no Synchromesh and no conventional 75W90 of any brand anywhere in the Napa store today. Maybe they could have ordered it, I didn't ask. Autozone had both though, in stock right on the shelf and I even saved a few bucks with a 20% coupon they sent me in the mail last week.

Looks like your talking to your self here.. I typically run Castrol high milage; always have.. but recently wallyworld didn't have my weight so i think i wound up going with Valvoline high milage in the red jug... TBh my rockers dont clatter as bad.. was just responding to someone in another post about that and engine feels lot as wimpy.
