I got to say the blacked out rims do look good how many cans were needed to do the job

I used like about 1 can a rim. I think I picked up like 5 cans just to be safe. That was like 3 years ago so kinda hard to remember lol

Yeah, 4 cans is plenty. Remember, the thicker that you put it on, the easier it is to remove.

I actually started doing plasti dip last night on my wheels. looks great. 4 coats with the last one being nice and thick. Used about 1.5 cans to do the 2 wheels. Will pick up another 2 to do the last 2 and also my grill.
