New Exhaust

I'm looking to replace my exhaust, fully. Headers to tailpipes. 2003 Dakota quad cab with 3.9. I plan on doing it myself and know it's going to be a job, so I would GREATLY appreciate tips, brands...etc.

Roughly $1,000. I know the 3.9 isn't for MPG's It's a solid motor with great torque, so I'm looking for those MPS and a sounds that doesn't resemble bees in a can...lol
