Interested in purchasing a 2003 4door v6 3.9 Dakota that needs a transmission. I have a donor vehicle my 2001 2door 3.9 v6 manual that has been hit but the motor and transmission are fine. Has anyone done the swap or have any suggestions on what it will take to swap everything over? Is the drive shaft the same will everything bolt up. can I use the automatic tranny computer with manual transmission and bypass park brake switch to crank? are these trucks pretty much . can I cut a hole for shifter and mount pedals to floor and clutch setup from the donor truck.. etc etc... Just give me your input on any problems I may face im sure it can be done.
