Default Help with 4 wheel drive

I have a 2003 dodge dakota with the 3.9 and I need some help with four wheel drive. Awhile back the wires for the module on the transfer case fell down and was cut into by the yoke. I repaired them and still could not get it to work. Since then I have replaced the TCCM and the transfer case motor as of yesterday. Everything when to working until I unhooked the battery to work on something different. When I hooked the battery back up it started doing the same thing again. It will lock itself in 4 high and will not come out. The transfer case motor acts like it trying shift but it is doing all the time even with the key turned off. Please someone help me I dont know what to do next. Thanks.

I don't know much about 4 wheel drive. I would start at the wire repair that I did. It sounds like a direct short from the positive wire to something else .
