driveshaft wont go into transfer case

driveshaft wont go into transfer case
When I go to put the front of the driveshaft on it will not go into nv233 transfer case. does this driveshaft only go in one way??
Don't know on what Im doing wrong but it is getting cold here doing this outside.
any help will be greatly appreciated
