Default torsion bar adjustment

How do you adjust torsion bars? I have a 2003 dakota. Will it hurt my alignment?

Right here, I'm sure you will be able to tell where that is, see the bolt right there next to the torsion bar? Just turn it, and it will adjust. The affects on your alignment and ride quality are virtually minimal unless you adjest them too high or too low

Also make sure you do it on a flat level surface and take measurements from side to side to make sure the ride height is the same on both sides. Here is a link to another post of a basic howto.
