This may seem like a stupid question but I just bought a 2004 dakota sport quad cab with the 3.7l v6. The radio antenna appears to be in fixed extended position. I was wondering if it is safe to take through an automated car wash? I am afraid it will snap.

 

Nope, you unscrew it first before car wash. If it's tight, use some pliers to crack it, then leave finger tight after that.

 

Made that mistake one time but not in the Dakota snapped it like it was nothing but a small twig.
