Default Which brand vent-visors and type ?

Which company do you like for quality, fitment and which style, in-channel or the tape ?

The one possible issue I've seen is from a review saying that the in-channel will make a clicking noise when you roll up the window ?
Also, is this type hard on the window felt ?
Few have said it can scratch the window ?

Any photo's will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin

Ran the avs in channel ones on my dakota(imo they look 100 times better than non in channel ones)

For the first week or so the window would hit it but after it formed to the window I never had a problem with them.. Window never had any scratches or anything from it... Only time it could scratch the window is if you left grit from mud or dirt lay in there for long periods of time while putting the window up and down.. Mine were in my dakota for 4 years before I sold it

I have in channel weathertech ones on my ram.. They seem a little more slimline than the avs ones I had on the dakota.. These ones are a little wider but seem to stay close to the window.. Dont have the bubble out effect like the dakota ones did... No problems with them at all hitting the window..

Best pic I found on my computer.. Can get a better one tomorrow if you want

Another question. when I have one or both of the front windows open even a little bit, and open a rear window a little, I get a lot of buffering wind sound inside the cabin. Do all 4-door trucks do this ?

Will the front window vents only or,....all four vents stop this buffering ?

Yes. Most, if not all have buffering noise. Agree with others, I had stick on ones for awhile and switched to in-channel. Looks much cleaner. As for brand? Whichever is cheapest is my favorite brand.

That will be great. I also spoke with Auto Anything.com and he said although WeatherTech have great products, their over priced, and I would be very happy with AVS, at half the cost. So, I'll order them today.

Thanks guys !
