Default 3.9L to 5.2 engine swap

Good day y'all,

In bought a 1998 Dakota in a pretty miserable condition body wise BUT I do not care much because this guy has 125,000km.
I was planning to replace '' ALL '' the drive train ( transmission, transfer case and BOTH diff. I will also swap ALL electrical because it has A/C and All electric (windows, door lock and theft deterent ).

I will strip the Old one AND install every thing into mine.

Any difficulty that I should be aware BEFORE this merge of mine ??

Seems like it would be easier to swap the bodies.

The engine wire harness and pcm from the 5.2 will be needed for this swap. You didn't say if trans is the same or not. Year makes a difference also.

Not a bad idea!
