What is the cheapest option to have a key made, I have only one that came with the truck.
I went to Lowes thinking I could just get aplain old copy made, but no, its 75.00 for a friggin Key.
My 2002 Ram 1500 didn't have the chipped key.

 

You need to find out if it indeed does have a chipped key. You can buy blanks from like ebay but the dealer will have to program it.

 

So, can Lowes actually code the key there? For 75 dollars I would hope so

 

Not that I'm aware of. You should ask them.

 

Im pretty sure it will be chipped.. My 02 ram is also not chipped
