I suggest getting a bigger engine and trans because I have a 01 5.9 4x4 dakota sport with auto trans and I have no problem hauling 5000 to 6000 pounds

Thanks to all. I'm scheduling the hitch, brake controller and whatever else needed in the coming weeks. I have a local wrench who is very versed in this sort of thing and I trust him implicitly.
