Replace door jamb switch, 98 Dakota
All:
My dome light started staying on recently, so I removed the fuse as a quick fix, and then later bought 2 replacement door jamb switches. Problem is how get these switches out. Here are some pics of the switch:

I can see by looking at the switch that the collar around the switch will pull forward, and lock into a grove. Looks like nothing unscrews. My thinking is that I have to remove this switch from the inside, but I am not sure. Has anyone else done this before. My guess is this is a common problem as these trucks get older.
