Ive been trying my best to restore a 97 dakota the best i can. Now that im driving it daily i got a random misfire code for all cylinders. I have replaced plugs wires battery....truck still runs strong. I cant feel or hear any mis. Havent lost any fuel mileage. Im guessing this is probally the distributor and cap?? Any other have this issue?

Could be an injector issue. My 97 5.2 did the same thing. I would for sure do the cap and rotor as see what happens.

 

Ill check that next if cap and rotor dont fix the situation
