Alright so i have a 2000 dakaota with a manual trans and i have a super problem and need help bad im completely stumped but anyway so when i put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position none of the lights on the cluster turn on besides the security one and after a few seconds it shuts off but the truck will start for a Second and then die and no other gauges on the cluster work and i can get it to start and stay running sometimes if i mess with the reprogramming of the key fobs but i am just stuck and don't know what to do I tried resetting PCM and still nothing I thought maybe the CTM bud not sure just really need help thanks in advance for any solutions

 

if your fob has a battery in it, remove it. my 2005 had a similar issue, once I removed the battery from fob, all issues went away.
