Default New guy here with a question about Vacuum line

So I just bought this truck 1997 Dakota 4x4 5.2. Runs great but I hear what sounds like a lot of air as I get on it a little bit. It is coming from the front right side. I ran out of light but I did find what looks like a vacuum line with a plastic connector on the end of it. It was right next to the Oil filter. It is just sitting there almost touching the oil filter. I wouldn't think it would make all that air sound but I have seen weirder things. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure the K&N Setup is where I am hearing the noise from. The Stupid filter itself turns freely.Plus it is resting up against the side wall touching the Wiring harness there. The part that sits on top the TB is loose. Why do people insist on these POS? I guess a trip to a junk yard I might find an original set up. The Vacuum line I found isn't hooked up and either end just a long piece of tube that attaches to the fender wall on one side and goes nowhere.

OK I am posting some pictures of the Cracked hose I just found opposite end of the PCV system. The hose that goes nowhere both ends and the stupid K&N set up which isn't even hooked up tight and is up against the wiring.First Picture is the Hose attached to the side of the Wheel weell,Second is the other end down by the Oil filter, third is the cracked hose coming from the PCV and then is the K&N touching the wiring and last is the K&N that is not attached to the TB correctly.

The hose by the oil filter looks like it might be your differential vent hose.

I am starting to think it might be part of the original air filter box. Is there a hose that attaches to that? It is connected to the wheel well on the passengers side and then just drops down to where it is at in the picture.
