Hows it going guys. So my transfercase blew up on me i need to know if a NV231J would work in mine. I have a 97 dakota 3.9L with the NV231D with 23input spline and 27 out put spline. And the NV231J is the same thing if im not mistaken but its out of a jeep wrangler anyone know would it work? The gear ratio is the same and if im not mistaken itll bolt right up exacty how mine does only difference is the male part for the drive shaft sticks out at the end of tcase instead of being inside of tcase like my original one.
