Smile 98 3.9 Boost questions PLEASE HELP !!??

Hello I have a 98 3.9 Dakota that I Just got done putting a little 15g turbo on !! I am installing a Walbro 255 now.. I also just got a high flow filter and fuel pressure regulator which I have not installed.. My question is can I bump up the fuel pressure a bit on the stock fuel injectors to accommodate the 5 psi of boost !!?? I only want the thing to be drive-able, it is not a racecar... Please forgive me for asking ignorant questions but I need to know the cheapest most roadkill way to make this thing run without being lean.!!?? I have a innovate afr installed to monitor it... I am new to the site guys be easy on me Hahaha !! Thanks for the help !! 1st post !! BAM !!

You kinda cant. The 255 will handle the load, you might be able to use an aftermarket regulator to get close to 55 pounds, 49 is stock. I'm not sure what the charge hoses are rated for, probably 70-80 but I wouldn't trust/test them.

Use a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator or maybe a Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator so fuel pressure is only raised in boost.

If you change the fuel pressure in no boost areas, it will run rich. The ecu will try to compensate but likely not have enough range and all open loop areas will be rich. Cold starts will be massively rich.
