No..I havent tried anything yet on getting out that sleeve part ..but plan to today..does heat make a difference,an how would i apply ?

puling the plugs hot can sometimes help, moreso with aluminum heads since they expand different from the steel plugs. Iron heads it doesn't make as much of a difference.

Easy Out ,an threads were fine!
(To think some on other sites said u need to take the head off)..

sounds like you got lucky. Pulling the head is done more often than you might think, not many people are that brave to do it on the truck (or have the tools to do so).

oh, and put the sleeve back on if you can. It keeps the spark plug boot from melting from the exhaust heat. They could probably get cut down with a hacksaw as they are a little excessively long, but they do have an actual purpose.

Never got sleeve off ..but b I bent it back into place good.
