Default 4x4 issues

hey all, my 4x4 does not work and i cant afford to go buy a new tccm right now and none of the junk yards around here have a used one. So the question i am wondering is there a way to run my 4x4 by just running a 3 way toggle switch with power to the tcm to switch it back and forth from 4x4 to 2wd. basically bypassing the tccm for the time i need to.

Not really. It's a DC motor with feedback sensor, the TCCM just tells the motor which direction to move, and stops it when that sensor trips.

On paper, you could run it with a DPDT momentary toggle switch, but you'd be running blind as to where the motor was unless you tapped the sensor, or your indicator lights still work. Not sure if that would actually work though.

I'm pulling the diagrams right now.

Indicator lights all still work fine and motor works fine as well. they just all do the blinking to switch into 4x4 and then go back to 2wd after about 45 sec. thats why i want to bypass the tccm if i can.
