Default New Guy Here Looking Into Buying a '99

As I said in the title I am looking into buying a new car. I found a '99 Dakota on craigslist nearby. It is a manual with 140,000 miles on it. I don't know enough about these trucks to know what to look out for. Anyone have any insights? Here's the original ad:http: //bozeman.craigslist.org/cto/5985249880.html

i have had 2 dakotas i love them. pop the hood and look towards the inside of the fenders. you will be able to see rust there before it comes through the paint. check the brake lines. depending on were you are they will need to be replaced before they start leaking. a good overhaul of the brake system is a good idea. check radiator fluid. if it's been ran hot the heads are prone to cracking. 2nd gen dakotas are great and really reliable. having a manual is a plus the auto trans ones like to brake.
