Stereo replacing
Stereo replacing
Has any body replaced the stereo to a after market?
What's involved are you removing most of the dash by the looks of it that is what it takes?
How long for the insulation?

In the order you asked:
1. All most everyone has replaced their stock stereo
2. dash removal is easy, it is held in by clips, just pull it out in one of the corners to see - to remove the whole thing, the trans (auto) must be in 1st (lowest gear)
3. Instlation is short, if you are prepared, like going to an auto parts shop and buying the factory wireing adaptors and prewireing the new stereo before pluging it into the factory harness and actually mounting the new stereo in the dash.
my 2 cents - if this is your first time - relax and check out crutchfield.com, if you get the stereo from there, they will send you detaled instructions with pictures and all the wireing harnessess for instulation.
