I just bought a 1996 Dakota, 4x4, this is my 3rd second gen dakota. I love the trucks. Before hand I gave it an oil change and a trans service because the previous owner said it slipped sometimes. The slip went away for awhile but that's another issue. While under the truck, I noticed trans fluid on the transfer case. I can't find where it's coming from but I do know that it hasn't mixed with any oil. Any ideas or suggestions?

 

Clean it all off, go for a drive and then look again.
