After watching a few videos about replacing mostly shackles and bushings they look like horror stories. I am thinking about just getting a new whole leaf spring pack. My truck spent it's first 14 years on salted Illinois roads.
I noticed my truck is sagging/leaning a bit on one side.
I already have the shackles and new bolts, and looks like some manufactures include bushings but does not say if they are pressed in ... has anyone here replaced springs ?
What i really need to know is what leaf spring i have ? From what i found there are at least 3 'packs' rated at 1100 , 1800 , and 2250. I am assuming my 4x4 would take a higher rated spring pack, but sure i don't want more ? any help and tips would be appreciated !
