What are the differences between the length of driveshafts on 2wd reg cab vs extended cabs? are they the same? Both single piece?

I know the manual transmission shafts are shorter than the autos by about 5 inches, but can a 2wd rear shaft from a manual extended cab work on a single cab manual?

I can't find any info online about driveshaft lengths.
