Default 1997 Dakota key fob program

I have a working remote and picked up 2 for back ups. the original does not have panic mode, just lock and unlock.

In my research supposedly, ground out the Data link pin #1. Looked at Data link and no wire for pin #1.

Looked for the dark green wire with cap, to ground out and program new remotes, CANT FIND DARK GREEN WIRE?

Where can this Dark Green wire be found? PHOTO?

1996 / 1997 DODGE RAM TRUCK 1. Locate the keyless entry program line - a dark green wire with a molded plastic insulator on the end. The program line is located under the left side of the instrument panel. The wire is taped back to the harness (Left of the steering column near the floor) and terminated with a black rubber mold.

2. Connect the program line from the Remote Keyless Entry Module to ground with a suitable jumper wire.

3. Insert the key into the ignition and turn ignition switch to the ON position.

4. Press any button on the transmitter to set code. If there is a second transmitter it has to be set at this time by pressing any button on the second transmitter. The locks will lock and unlock automatically to confirm programming. 5. Disconnect the program line from ground, turn ignition off and remove key.

Still trying to get this programed. Went to stealer ship to day. $45 dollars later, sorry sir we cant program your fobs. WTF, I don't think they know what they are doing.

I have 1 working fob. I really would love to have these fobs programed to my truck. Does anyone have any ideas?

These are 2 button remotes, no panic alarm.
