I am an avid hunter and fisherman and I would like to put a shell on the bed of my 1998 Dakota. My question is should I install an aluminum shell or a fiberglass unit? Thanks for your help.

 

Its a personal preference. Do you plan on ever taking it off for any reason? Aluminum is lighter, but usually isnt that good looking on a modern truck. Fiberglass ones are made to match the look of the truck, but are quite heavier than aluminum.
