So i just picked up a dakota with 4.7 in it for 400 bucks. Kicker is doesnt run. Claims his GF drove it t work one and just didnt start one day. I replaced both cam and crank sensors. It has fuel. IT will turn over a bunch of times puff back through the intake and repeat. There are no computer codes present also at current time with code reader. Anybody have any Ideas

 

Verify spark and fuel for starters.

 

Checked fuel pressure. That good at 55. It has spark for the first revolution then it goes away

 

check to see if the security system has locked you out, is there a red light on dash board? also the battery may need replacing, try jumping to give more juice, also a back fire might mean timing has jumped
